yesterday the game ran fine, but today it crashes immediately after I click "play" in the launcher.

I have all dlc except jd
I have no mods active

I've tried a clean reinstall but no change.
Rerolling to 2.7.2 works fine.

I might be wrong, but If that's implying that you run the Steam Beta, then check out of the Beta and try to use the standard Steam version.
Using the Steam Beta did and can cause issues.

Only responded, as i suppose that tech support isn't around for a while.

thanks but I wasn't using beta (I think), either way I activated beta and it didn't change that line, then I opted out again and still the same.

edit: the game works now! Seems to be the beta thing as it's the only thing I've tried since the last failed attempt
