Playing as Japan around the Vichy event I am suffering CTD Problems. I have installed 1.3 and the hotfix but when I install the game I am getting the following messages.

Database mismatch (type = 4712/id298336)
Database mismatch (type = 4712/id297938)

These have the ignore/retry messages attached.

Can anyone help?
 
Those messages usually mean that two events share the same id, I think.
 
Just plain old vanilla.
 
Sounds like the game was started with an earlier Version than 1.3A.

We always recommend starting a new game with each patch.
You could try an Uninstall, then a reinstall, applying the 1.3A patch direct and avoiding the hotfix.

You should have bought the game from Paradox ondemnd. ;)
 
I reinstalled the 1.3a patch and it works. Oh and I found my disc.
