I have 1.03 NA installed. I do not have any mods installed, the game is in "pure" state. I get a CTD when I slow down the game to slow or below normal. It appears to happen when lots is going on, so I assume some register or something is overflowing. It does not seem to happen at normal or the faster speeds.

Video is Radeon 9700 and sound is Creative Extigy. All have most recent drives from manufacturer.

Thanks

Welcome to support! hope your flight was pleasent.

First thing to try is to rename your AVI folder to AVI_back, then make sure you have the latest video and audio drivers.

If that does not sort out your problem please post full system specs.

CTD

Thanks

I have done as you request. I am going to start another game tomorrow. So I will see if this makes a difference and let you know one way or the other.

I also noticed that it happend about 2 or 3 games days after an autosave. I use the monthly autosave option.

Okay let us know how it goes.

That seems to have done the trick. In the 1939 scenario I am into 1943 and the only CTD came when I had many units that needed to be moved from the force pool, about half way through 30 units. That was at normal speed. But only one, I used to have that happen in 1.02 almost every time.

Thank you for the assistance.

Good news is what we like to hear! :)
Happy conquests.
