i'm getting a crash to desktop with some save games when i load them (after about 2-10 seconds). Very frustrating as i've invested quite a few hours in this one particular game.

Here's what i did:

1. Racked up about 25 save games
2. Deleted the save games from the save folder in Windows Explorer, but kept about 5 (including their cfg files).
3. Experienced problems

Now i'm stuck with this CTD problem. It is consistent, however... for example, on one save it always crashes at noon on the current day (or is it midnight... can't remember right now, but it is the same time each crash).

Please help! i believe i downloaded the latest patch (the one that has the installer, not the zips) and installed it before i ever started a game.

Was it 1.05 or 1.05c ?

i believe it was 1.05, not 1.05c

Upgrade to 1.05C and you should have fewer problems.

Ack, 1.05c doesn't help.

It may not help with a save already corrupted, but it may help with future games.
