This CTD is the first for me, the game goes through the intro movie fine, then gets to the main screen, click on single player and then game crashes. I have installed the latest version 1.03b from 1.03 and earlier today installed the service pack 1 and other critical updates. My OS is Windows XP Pro, 384MB, 766mhz cd-Rom is 50x. "HELP"

I think I fixed it, this was the same problem as in my EU2

This was the same problem as in my EU2 game and what I did, was to rename my "avi" folder to "avi_old" and that seems to have fixed it.

Yup the Bink player sometimes does not unload itself and causes problems. Renaming the AVI folder disables the bink player and will solve the problem.
