CTD's during Save

Crashes before producing .eug file - Save file just has the first part. Did not ever have this problem in previous patches. It's very infuriating to initiate a CTD saving your game when the only reason you are saving in the first place is because you are afraid a CTD is gonna wipe out everything you just did.

How much FREE space do you have on the disk/partition?

nothing to do with amount of space on the HD I have had this issue several times with 1.06 as well. I run sims with autosave monthly on and have had several sims crash in the middle of the save and forcing me to restart the sim from the begining because it was corrupted.

Have had it happen playing USA, Germany, and Japan - I have 20 GB free space on my Hard Drive - that's not the problem - This has happened so many times I'm as afraid to save as I am not to save. Really makes the game unplayable - I haven't been able to even get close to finishing a game since 1.05c.

Can you link to a save game where this has happened? Maybe its having some sort of problem writing something. two or three different saves would be good.

I have compressed the failed saves into a .rar file and can email them to you.
