Hi!
... I'm not really newbie, but I just chose a completely different starting setting than usual (I always prefered Kingdoms or to-be-Kingdoms (see, Wales), and monolithic starting dynasties (see, Castille) as far as culture is concerned.
Now, I started a game in 1066 with the Duchy of Flanders. My dynasty (de Flanders) is Frankish; yet, Brugge is Dutch, and since Beaudoin the first is dead, Hainaut is now part of my realm, which means I own two Frankish provinces (and 3 Dutch provinces, by my account). Liege will soon fell in my realm as well. All my vassals (two) are Frankish, and of their province is Frankish, the other is Dutch.
So, my question is two-fold.
1. Does Brugge ever has a chance to convert to a Frankish province.
and if no
2. Is there a way to switch capital, other than giving the province to a Count, so the Cultural Conversion may happen in other provinces?
(I basically want to recreate a French Belgium)
PS : I know that I posted the same question in the newbie thread, but I'm not sure this question is... really newbie.
