It may be that this has been asked before, but if so, I haven't been able to find the answer.
I want to try playing as England, Williem the Conqueror in 1066. Quite normal, he's Norman, so are his heirs, and most of the England is Saxon.
The thing is, I would like to somehow later, change my culture to English, and if possible provinces to. Now I could probably edit save game file, or something. But is there 'legal' 'in game' way of doing this. ?

The game has 2 special cultural conversion-events, one is the 'English Melting Pot' and the 'Scottish Melting Pot'. Which means that as long as your ruler is Norman, Saxon or English your provinces in England will at some point convert to the English culture.
