I've got a custom set of Events working which can get a little spammy, what with the pausing the game, creating a popup, and having a second before being able to click 'ok'. It's extremely annoying. Is there any way for a mod to use the notification bar at the top of the screen, like with elections, debris surveys, etc.? As far as I can tell, there's no way to trigger an alert that doesn't already exist in hardcode, and therefore no way to notify a player something custom has happened aside from the game-pausing, screen-grabbing Event popup.
