Custom asset not working due to lack of DLC

I have created a custom road with the built in editor on cities skylines, however I am unable to use it in the game because I do not have the parklife dlc. I haven't used any parts from the parklife dlc in my custom road so I do not understand why it isn't letting me use it.

Please help.

Yes, I load it just fine. It says Mass Transit and Park Life required.

Mot sure what it could be. Did you have any mods activated during creation?

Maybe some of the Park Life tools that are free are triggering it as Park Life?

Otherwise, I'd have to guess it's a mod interfering somehow?

I disabled all mods and assets when creating the road so there must be some interference somewhere.

I believe it's the bus stops for the tour busses that causes this. They're a Parklife-only feature and get added to roads by default. Ofc that's not intentionel, so I'd expect a patch at some point to make the bus stop part of the base game, so this doesn't happen.

I have the same problem: I edit any standard road (f.ex. Two-Lane One-Way Road ) without changing anything except the name when saving in the editor. When I then go to content-manager the asset is listed but marked with the 'Parklife DLC required' tag and can't be activated.
I have no mods installed. I even reinstalled Cities:Skylines to retry this.

Thanks metacritical for the quick reply. I reread the post by Avanya and looked through all the props of all elevations in a road i'm editing. I removed the tourbus stops and it now works. I'm new at this. I got the game only last week...

● Fixed: All custom made roads require Parklife DLC

Yup. Roads affected and requirering Parklife might need to be resaved if the requirement doesn't go away by itself.
