I made a custom ruler in pe with the clothing I like and saved his DNA to his character's DNA file. When I load the game he is always wearing the same thing. Even if I copy paste an existing rulers DNA, he renders wearing the same default clothing.
His body, hair, eyes, etc. are all correct. Just his clothes revert to a default. If I set the king of Prussia's DNA file to my custom one, the custom Prussian king wears the original Prussian king's clothes. When I set the ruler of custom nation's DNA, he wears a generic default.
I am not sure were it is written, but there must be a reference somewhere that says "The ruler of X must always wear Y" or something that causes that effect, as my DNA file has no bearing on ruler clothing.
