Hi,

A few units questions:

1) Is there a way to cycle through all units to make sure you know where they are?

2) Bug? In the GC, playing england, everytime I send Cabot into the Atlantic the unit disappears from my screen - I know the sqaure he is in but I can't see him. He's not dead yet - because I jear him die a few minutes later.

Thanks

U don't use these?? My gawd, they're a lifesaver for me! (well, at least for my fleets & armies) If I haven't played in a couple of days I tend to forget what I was doing & cycling thru the world helps to bring it all back... Those of you w/o short-term memory damage probably don't need such crutches tho'.

Wasn't Cabot an explorer anyway?? He'd have his own boat then wouldn't he? (there's that memory damage agyne :p ) Sounds a bit funny to me.

It's an occasional graphics bug that occurs most often in oceanic Pacific zones-if you had him selected you'd probably see the circle but not the ship. Normally just moving the view a little so that its' no longer directly centred on the relevant seazone will allow you to see the ship, although if you move to recentre it the image'll disappear again.

I must admit, I don't remember ever having this difficulty in the Atlantic though.

YAB. I've never run into this one at all. Graphics card/driver prob I guess.

The alternative is to right-click on the world map, bottom left, and have it show all armies/navies/conquistadors etc., whichever ones you want to look at, with red dots. Then go and look at the red dots.

If you try to do this while an army/fleet is selected, right-click will direct the army/fleet to move there, which is seriously annoying if you forgot who was selected at the time :D so remember to select a random sea zone before doing this.

Probably-must remember to check if I've still got the latest driver. That may be the root of chill888's particular version of the problem too.
