DAIM problem with old saves

i had old saves of Hoi2D(road to war campaign),it was version doomsday 1.02,i played with DAIM
after few months i installed Doomsday again,i updated to 1.3a doomsday version and also downloaded DAIM for this version

question is,if DAIM works in this case(recap: old saves with older DAIM version,then newest version of DD and DAIM installed and old saves used)?

i think it does not work,Soviets are too weak

It may work.
We adapt DAIM for every new patch and we seldom do huge architecture changes but we do so no guarante.
The better way is a new game
