Diplomacy bug has been corrected. 010326. New updates available!!!

The fix is now included in the 1.08 update. You can also download only the crash fix here: http://www.europa-universalis.com/docs/DK_fix_010326.zip.

Please note!!! This file will NOT update the game to 1.08, it will only fix the crash bug. To update to 1.08 you need to download the appropriate update from our download page (http://www.paradoxplaza.com/downloads.asp).

I joust want to thank you, my game is finally playable.
However it was well worth the waiting.

argh, it still crashes when clicking 'erklær krig' in right-mouse button country menu. I downloaded the DK fix, copied the text.csv into the config directory, restarted the game, played as england in GC, moved a fleet to the gascogne sea, right-clicked gascogne, saw the menu, pressed 'erklær krig' and then it immediately crashed to the desktop. I wonder if I did anything wrong, since others wrote that it works now - I'm going to re-download the 1.08 patch (which I of course has installed) to see if there is a difference between downloading the DK-fix and reinstalling the updated patch.

Updating with the entire updated 1.08 patch did NOT help. What's wrong - how can you say that you fixed the 'erklær krig' bug, when it appears to be _exactly_ as broken as before?

No there where two typing errors in text.csv that we had missed when we got the files back from translation. A d had become an s and there was an f missing also...

Mstarch - Try to remove your installation and install it again then upgrade it to 1.08 AND THEN put in the DK fix. If im not mistaken the 1.08 update replaces the text.csv, so its importen that you use the DK-fix AFTER updating.

The DK-fix is included in the 1.08 update that is available for download. It wasn't included during the first 24 hours as the reason for the bug was found so late.

I tried installing the DK fix on top of the 1.08 patch by copying the updated csv file into the config directory. This however did not help - it still crash when clicking 'erklær' krig on the context menu after right-clicking a foreign territory.

Unfortunately I'm not at that computer right now, but I downloaded the DK-fix and used the csv-file from that download. Do you suspect that the file somehow got damaged during download? I can try reinstalling EU with the 1.08 patch on this computer, to see if it helps. Am I the only one experiencing this 'erklær krig' problem?

As you've probably noticed, I've mailed you my text.csv. Just wanted to make sure you received it. I tried downloading the DK-fix, and a diff showed the text.csv file is identical to the one I use. (or don't use, since my 350 kr. game is unplayable)

Anything new about the 'erklær krig' bug? It crashes every single time I try clicking it, so it should be pretty reproducible.

It works with the swedish version, so it looks like it's versioning related.
