I've done my due diligence in searching for this topic before creating a new thread. If this is in the wrong place, or is a repeat, PLEASE let me know.
I've been thinking, for a while, that Paradox would whip out a Dark Ages prequel to Crusader Kings; I was pretty surprised when Rome came out, instead.
I may have, and hope I did, miss it, but I don't see anything about filling the gap; Wouldn't it rock to be able to play from the fall of the western Empire all the way up to the 1950's?
With that in mind...
I've been looking at the various engines, thinking about this; EU:III is just too complicated (for me, at least), but the EU:II engine looks like it might be doable.
I almost certainly will NOT do this; I am Lazy. I've made some mods but nothing spectacular. I have way, way, WAY too many irons on the fire to devote the amount of time to this it would require.
But. If I just get obsessed, and win the lottery, I could whip out a EU:II mod that would cover the years from Rome to Crusader Kings.
If I was to do such a thing, I would need to limit it to the geographic areas covered in CK, right? and I would need quite a bit of help with historical research, events, etc.
Is there interest? or, better yet, has paradox got this in the works or has someone already done it? Is there someone who WANTS to do it, is capable, has time, but was just lacking a nudge?
