My mother was Visenya, I married her off to Orys and switched over to him. After she died, I gained neither her sword or her dragon. What happened?

Are you a member of House Baratheon? Both Valyrian Steel Swords and Dragons are passed on through the dynasty. So if you are a member of House Baratheon your not inheriting them is working as designed.
