1.04 french patch

Just downloade and intalled it, restart a game (principlaty of Polotsk)

about 5 minutes after lauching I go kick some pagan butt and got a 'database mismatch' window as the battle starts (4 combined armies on my side, 1 lone army on pagan side). Then the game freezes and I need Crtl-Alt-Sup to close it.

Quite annoying.

I just got the same thing :eek: English version, patched over a fresh install, my first game I went a year or so without it, but in my second game, after a month or two: Database Mismatch Error! I was playing as some Byzantine Duke.

I assume most have tried this with 1066. Does it happen with 1187 and 1337 scenarios? How about custom scenarios?

EDIT2: Nope, went through the province.csv file and didn't find any invalid tags among duchies, sorry to get hopes up if anyone read what was here before... :(

Same problem here, english 1.04. First battle I enter, game hangs up, alt-enter and back, I see the "mismatch" error message. When I click "ingnore", I get a ctd.
 
The 1337 scenario gives no such problems. And no problems with the 1066 scenario either. 1.03b install with lots of mods applied and then 1.04.
 
1.03b and then 1.04 over it, then new game with 1187 scenario. Have got to 1198, married, fought christians, fought heathens, no database mismatches. Actually it really feels like performing better technically than 1.03b, as I have been able to run on Fast without problems.

Note: I have disabled both music and SFX by renaming the folders.
 
1.04 seems to be very flawed. Chances are it'll be taken off the site soon and a new version will be released to fix the problems. (There are more in the 1.04 french patch thread).

This was in the 1066 scenario. I had been playing v1.03, and just installed 1.04. I started a new game, and tried to change laws just a couple of days in, and, boom, database error. I clicked retry, and CTD.

Was the game paused when this happened?
 
Mine seemed to happen randomly, was just watching the world go by. Although saying that I did notice that my liege (Byzantine Emperor) was involved in a war with some Muslim country at the time...
