I havent tried all of them but at least the counters for Wales and England do not work, the english counter apears as the swiss counter and the walse counter apears as the portigaul counter

to trouble shoot I did the following

noticed there was a counter for both counties wales and england "counter_U73" and "counter_U76
deleted the counter_por and counter_sch that was apearing on the welsh and english armies and renamed counter_U76 and counter_U73 to counter_por and counter_sch tried it and it repleced it with two other counter in the folder besides to correct ones, at that point I thought it was the counter itself but they where both 8bit with the same dimentions at the working ones I don't know why they wont work

anyone else have this problem? or know how to fix it

Can I get some fucking help on this one, I have been as courteous as possible I did not resubmit a question already asked, I did not give an ambiguous title such as "help", I gave as much information as possible an I get in return no response at all? I emailed tech support twice without a response and posted two threads without one response I would have accepted "sorry don't know what you are talking about" so I wouldn't have to waste my time for almost a month now. Be assured I can be an asshole about this, I can span, I can hijack, and I can download the whole paradox lineup from torrents. I can do all of that but I didn't. If this is how you treat people who respect the rules, verses those who don't, I would rather receive a cease and desist because at least that would be a response, but to ignore me all together is the lowest of low, shame on the support staff.

And what kind of response do you think you will get going off like that?

To answer your question.. Yes it is a known bug and it will probably be corrected by someone like myself or a modder attached to the HOI2Patch Project on the next patch.....

Plus i am assuming you followed the directions in this thread

http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?t=179636

Paradox does not necessarily respond to their bug requests personnally. That does not mean that they dont take such submissions lightly.

This is not a catastrophic game crashing bug and as such is not very high on the list of MUST do fixes.

Next time i would recommend not swearing..... it is a bannable offense on these forums

All I required was the most basic of basic, a response, which I indicated in my last sentence "anyone else have this problem?" which after about a month I finally get an answer, "yes other people are, we know about it, and we are fixing it in an upcomming patch". that was sufficient, thats what I was asking for in the begining.Ignoring my was just plain rude.

BTW as for it not being a "catastrophic game crashing bug" 1. Other even more trivial post where replied to 2. Call me pickey but, the game might-as-well have crashed because I have not played the game since I first encountered the problem, I wan't to play the game but the counter problem buggs me so, much I just can't.

And as i wrote above... Paradox does not necessarily respond to every game bug reported by an individual.

As such You were not slighted in any way. I have reported bugs in the past and not been responded to.

Please do not take the non response so personnally.

Second.

The reason why you are getting a response from me is because i will be working on the HOI2 Patch Project and any bugs that are outstanding are of interest to me.

This is how i usually treat bugs and how i classify them. Others may differ but the sentiment is usually the same:

1. Catastrophic -- CTD type bugs.... OS Corrupting bugs etc. (ex these should never happen in a released product)
2. Major -- A bug that makes the game not function at all -- but no CTD (ex these should never happen in a released product)
3. Medium -- A bug that makes the game as a whole not function as it is intended. (This rarely happens in a released product)
4. Minor -- A bug in code that makes a specific element of the game not
function as intended. The game is still playable without these bugged elements. These bugs are usually the most numerous. (ex. The current bug in code for Paras)
5. Cosemetic -- A bug in code or in a data file that makes a specific element in the game not look as intended or not function as intended but make the game still playable. (ex. Stats page not displaying upgrades, Errors in db files not displaying correct counter images for countries, errors in specific events...)

And as such thank you for reporting the bug... it has been noted.... We will try and incorporate it in the HOI2 Patch Project.

Thread closed please.
