DD in Windowed mode?

Someone on the main forum suggested that you could play in a window by "typing WINDOWED all in caps in the target for the shortcut .exe".

What does that mean? I tried messing around with the shortcut and got nowehere.

If this is true, that would be great - but I don't know exactly what they mean.

Any help along these lines would be appreciated.
