Dead internet after running HoI. Anyone tried that too?

At a number of occasions now I have noticed that if I have exited HoI (singleplayer) and start IE, IE will stop communicating after a while. Connection will be up, but traffic stops and cannot be reactivated.

If I restart, everything is back to normal so no big deal. I just wondered if anyone else experienced this and has any idea what causes it. Thanks.
 
No one has reported such a problem, the only possible interaction I could see is from the Bink player not shutting down. To disable the Bink player, Just rename your AVI folder to AVI_back.

Most likely it is a non related issue however.
