Dealing with the new Volcano Random Event?

Since Lava is horrible to build on now (big negatives to production and upkeep), the new Volcano event spreading lava underneath already established buildings really hurt my empire's economy. I don't have the "Cleanse Land" spell yet- does anyone know if it will undo the lava tiles created by the Volcano random event?

Or are those tiles now screwed, and I should consider demolishing buildings on them and rebuilding elsewhere? Thanks!

Edit: Was able to research "Cleanse Land " spell a few turns later. It removes both the lava tiles and the volcano tiles.

Im pretty sure there is at least one spell that can terraform lava tiles. About 90% sure. If I find it again Ill post more details.
