Deconstruction?

As I was playing the game earlier, I remembered a mod for EU3 where there were no major countries, and thought that such a mod would solve many problems in Rome. I have absolutely no modding skills so I'm just throwing the idea out there, as I would love to actually play Rome where either Rome the Selucids or Carthage don't take over and I think most of us would, too.

Yeah, Deconstructed was one of my favorite mods! There was no france and you could play as lappland!

I don't think rome's diplomacy ai is up to the task.

Dunno if this is what you are looking for, but Krantz made a fine mod were the countries are sort of at par with eachother.
