I noticed, that upgrading units with perks can become quite tiresome, when you unlock a new perk and you have to upgrade all the units manually.
I'd suggest a unit list of all your units with quick upgrade buttons and an upgrade all button if you want to just simply upgrade everything, while having the necessary cash.

Of course another thing that could work, would be shift/ctrl modifiers for the purchase button of the perks. Holding shift could buy the perk for all units of the same type, while holding ctrl would buy it for all units that can have it, assuming you do have the cash.

Bear in mind, the game releases in about 10 days. Maybe we should wait for the final product, and then make suggestions for an add-on, or DLC.

Please add middle mouse scroll or click scholl..
Nice Demo.

MMB controls zoom-in ability. So it will have to be click-scroll if its implemented. Otherwise I recommend using the arrows next to UNIT & CITY, to scroll through each one. Or the ALERT circles, to make sure that you dont miss anything vital. If you really want to scroll the map manually you can use the (4) directional arrows near the numpad.

I'd really like upgrade screen not to disappear after each upgrade.

And defending units should stay defended until they see an enemy or something. I'm tired of clicking through idle units.

Not entirely sure what you mean by the upgrade screen disappearing, could you elaborate?

As for defending units, I think you might want to SLEEP the units rather than defend. Click on the >> button, for more unit options. Its easy to miss!

In demo when I buy unit upgrade upgrade window disappears. Though now I'm not sure if it happened all the time, but I definitely remember that several times I've bought upgrade than clicked upgrade menu button and bought another one. And sometimes I lost unit selection so I've selected unit again and upgraded it.

Thanks for sleep button, I thought there's only disband there as it makes sense to hide that button, but hiding sleep?..

Units should be able to swap their place with an adjacent unit while both having enough movement points left. With a deep army it's somewhat cumbersome to move badly wounded units to a safe distance.

This requires some work, I think, as it's a major update for interface and AI. I think Civilization 5 allowed several units to be on the same tile if any of them could move and asked for any of them to move before the end of turn.

Another suggestions:
1) Option for right-click interface. Select by LMB, move by RMB, deselect by LMB on empty space, lore and info by double LMB/click on portrait.

2) Exit city view by RMB. As I understand RMB does nothing on city view so should be nice and easy to add that.

3) When my unit has portal on the way and stops there, I've got popup if I want to go into portal. I would tell unit to go into portal if I wanted to. Also I'm not sure how can you enter portal if you chose "No" and later decide to go there. Special button in action panel would make more sense.

Overal the game is surprisingly good, I can only point at interface problems.

However, I fear for economy. As I've seen, even with good economy you don't have much money. Most of my money I got from looting. So in the end game when most of the land is explored and wizards fight each other you won't have much money to build new units and buy upgrades. Also your old upgraded units will be high level. So it's easy for me to imagine end of the game: everything is already decided by your army as nobody can afford buying and upgrading new units and have to rely on experienced guys who fought neutrals, looted them and get themselves upgrades.

Unfortunately, I know very little about the game as-is, but amongst others, I hope that over the course of the game, you will be able to dedicate yourself to a god, for exchange for a drop of their divine juices. Also, tooltips and lore information on this bunch would be most appreciated.

The game looks great, and I can't wait!

Yes please. At least for me it just seems more natural that way, but YMMV.

[1] When you cast a spell that takes more than one turn, when its ready, you cannot tell what it is unless you either; (a) remember what it was, or (b) you somehow have the little pictures memorized. So just put in a 'mouse over' identifier.

[2] Have a Civilopedia (I am sure several have posted this).

[3] When you are on the main map and you look next to the city name to see the unit picture of what it is producing, have a 'mouse over' tip so we know what it is.

[4] When you are on the city screen and you are building something, have a 'mouse over' tip so we know how may more turns to complete.
