sounds like the 9th panzer and 4AD are "british" style armor division for the german and American. They have to rely on light and medium without any jumbo or panther. Tiger 1 are good, but within striking distance of the Firefly.

funnily enough, the 9th panzer doesn't have its panthers because the already in game greyhound "stole" them.

Since the 4TH AD will be relying on M4A1s will the gun be brought up to the M4A3 75w Standard? after all in reallife it was the same gun firing the same ammo with the same optics.

The I./24 PzRg(Panthers) was attached to the 116th PzDv,this unit originally belonged ot the 24th PzDv.
For Operation Luttich the I./24 was attached to the 2nd PzDv's Kampfgruppe Schake.(granted it took two days and the sacking of the 116th's commander for this to happen.)

May I ask where to find the information that the Panthers of the II./33 (9th PzDv) were attached to the 116th for this attack
There are photographs of the II./33 PzRg's befehlspanzer V ( '96' in particular) in combat with the 9th PzDv in August.

most likely the m4 will have the same gun as the m4a3 while the m4a1 retain their current crappy gun.

edit: actually from the stream it looks like the m4 will have the same crappy gun as the m4a1.

Thats so stupid there was no differance between the guns they were both M3 75mm Cannons no differance at all they also had the same optics and fired the same ammunition. The only differance i can think of is maybe stabalizer.

As far photos only seen those on Pinterest.

I'am curious to know where to find the information that the II Pz Bt/33rd PzRg was attached to the 116th PzDv.
Am aware that on 8.8.44 the II/33rd while still in transit was detached from the division to the Falaise area, whilst the 9th PzDv was assembling along the Mayenne-Monsturs area; 9th aufklarungs abt was detached to the Domfront area.

It was in Zetterling's Normandy 1944: German Military Organization, combat power & organizational effectiveness.

You are right about the I./PzRgt 24 (from 24. Panzer) being the Panther Abteilung attached to 116. Panzer for the Mortain counter-offensive.
Yet the II./33 PzRgt (the 9. Panzer's Panther Abteilung was unusually the 2nd) was actually attached to 116. Panzer during its short-lived appearance in Normandy in the Alençon-Argentan sector from ~August 10th to August 15th, when it was sent back across the Seine. Its 8. Kompanie (Oblt. Langhammer) fought in Argentan on August 14th with the I./PzRgt 24 ... under the authority of 116. Panzer. Easy! :)
Hence why I've mixed up the two of them ...

There are indeed a lot of pictures around on the internet labeled "9. Panzer in Normandy", but most are highly debated.
i.e. the "famous" Befehlpanther '96' usually attributed to 9. Panzer doesn't match this division's small & hollow lettering, as depicted on this one (AFAIK, the only undisputed 9. Panzer's Panther picture in Normandy). Same with all the pictures displaying a Panther with a road wheel attached to the rear of the turret, like this one: it was a trademark of the I./24 PzRgt.
