Real question... How many PC players actually played CS1 on just the vanilla 9 tiles without installing a mod that expands it to 25 or 81?

The map size comparison becomes quite a bit less favorable when you take it into consideration.

Why compare apples and oranges?

I mean vanilla CS was really small at 9 tiles vs modded 25 or 81 tiles, which btw were not even available at day one.

New game, granted mods may come around quicker this time around, maybe not day one, but definitely faster...
