DH 1.0 and IC 1.05

OK removed aod and ic from computer. Loaded DH, then IC then IC 1.01 then IC 1.05

When I play DH and save a game, i can leave the game restart it then load my save.

I start DH, choose IC as the mod , run game, save game and exit. When I restart DH, choose mod IC theres no save game, the program cant find it

It appears I was missing a directory c:\games\darkest hour\mods\ironcross\scenarios\save games.

I added the "save games" directory under the "scenarios" directory and it all appears to work now

I installed Dh + IC but when I select 1933 scenario it dont load, appears a message that cant found 1934 scenario.

Dh full its ok.
I have installed ARMA + IC and run ok.

I checked and I can load my saves with no problem ... no Save Games folder missing. Is anyone else having this problem?

Please follow this exact procedure to install Iron Cross over DH

1.- Install DH
2.- Install Iron cross 1.00 (the one you got from gamersgate)
3.- Install Iron Cross patch 1.01
4.- Install Rev 5 of Iron Cross

Please be sure to select the MAIN Darkest Hour folder to install iron cross and not the Mod folder of DH, maybe this was the problem. it means the path to install Iron Cross over DH should be something like this: C:/Program Files/Paradox Interactive/Darkest Hour

Thats exactly how i installed it under win 7 64bit. However the DH load defaults to c:\games\darkest hour. Anyhoo, adding the save game solved my problem and its all running sweet now

When I installed IC for DH, no save game gdirectory was made. The installer should make one.

Just wanted to add that i had an issue with installing IC over a copy folder of DH(i copied cause i keep backups of vanilla versions on all my pdox games). When installing to this copied folder the game didnt work at all. Its perfectly fine tho if you install over the original and play it as a mod like they intended, i even think this is a great feature and saves HDD space.

I got an error too when i load my savegames,i did installed it to D:/Spiele/Darkest Hour then to C:/Games/Darkest Hour but nothing help.

It does never create an save game Folder on Iron Cross/scenarios and adding one doesnt help.

I have Win 7 64bit.

You can ignore the errors and the game will run without problems. Quintelosky is warned about it and we are working to clarify this issue asap

Have the same problem like slategrey the folder save games under mods iron cross didnt exist, I must to create one. Then I can see the saved games, but have the save problem you mention with the loading errors. Another thing when using autosave it has this format "AutoSave_Alemania_1933_Agosto_1", so if I have autosave option by month in one year I have 12 files. AutoSave_Alemania_1933_Agosto_1, AutoSave_Alemania_1933_septiembre_1,AutoSave_Alemania_1933_octubre_1, etc

Another thing when using autosave it has this format "AutoSave_Alemania_1933_Agosto_1", so if I have autosave option by month in one year I have 12 files. AutoSave_Alemania_1933_Agosto_1, AutoSave_Alemania_1933_septiembre_1,AutoSave_Alemania_1933_octubre_1, etc

This is a DH feature. See the file on modeling notes. It can be changed in the misc.txt file. Just look for the following lines:

Found a new Bug,the Brigades dont look right.
If i get an an Heavy Art. Brig. to produce i get an Tank Destroyer and for an Anti Tank Brigade theres an Self Pro. Rocket Art. Brigade.



Edit: If the Brigades are produced and i get then to an Division the Pictures are allright.
