I just picked up DH and IC, did a clean install of each and patched them up to 1.01.1, and 1.01 respectively, and on attempting to boot DH with IC i get an excel file not found error. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Using Revision 7, I get errors whenever I attempt to boot a scenario. It's missing files...

EDIT: Nevermind, I didn't apply the first 1.1 patch beforehand, just the Revision 7 patch.

Is anybody tell me with order we must instal? I try I lot thnig still get excel erorr. My install
DH + IC + IC 1.01 rev7 and get erorr.

No one has mentioned installing this on a steam bought dh
I have installed the game in my common dh
It puts the folder in mods and when i try to load it with the launcher the same thing happens but is says the settings file has been changed clicking yes loads a default
I have tried also to install the patches both in the common dh folder and in the mod ic folder and still get this error
Yet dh runs perfectly fine

I was having similar problems, although I downloaded from Gamersgate. What you probably need to do after installing IC, patch 1.01 and rev7 (all in the main DH folder), is to click on the rev7 file that you'll see in the main DH folder. This will run an installer programme (you thought it was already installed? - think again!). Just follow the instructions and it should work.
 
Ok figured it out the short cut on my desktop is the problem when i loaded it through the iron cross in my win 7 start menu it started
I look forward to trying this game out

I reinstalled IC + DH + patches and rev. 7. I still can't start IC. The error message is:

ERROR : (Unknown Trigger Type) 'invention = yes' Line = 153 file = Mods\IronCross\db\events_34\Eventos_mod34\reg_africa-orientemedio.txt

Sounds like it is referring to the 1934 scenario, although I am trying to load 1933.

I don't see any file called anything like rev7 in the main DH folder.
