DH Launcher Error

Hi

There was a recent post about launcher error, I didn't read it carefully but I do believe this is a different problem.

The thing is that when I launch a game this error message reads:
"Error was encountered when reading the configuration file and settings could not be saved. - Do you want to run the game with previous settings anyway? Yes/No"

It doesn't matter witch option I choose; the game runs perfectly... the error message is not in itself the problem, but most probably connected to the problem:

The problem is that the launcher always and only launches DH Full even though I choose other mods. This is also the case when I choose the in-game DH Light; - DH Full runs instead.

You probably installed Darkest Hour in C:\Program Files or under another protected folder in Windows Vista/7 with UAC enabled. There are multiple solutions:
1) reinstall in another folder (default is C:\Games\Darkest Hour)
2) run the game as Administrator
3) give full/write access to Darkest Hour\settings.cfg for your user
