difference between minor and major

Is the only difference between a minor and major nation that you can't annex a major nation? Or are there any more differences?

The reason I'm asking is, if there's no other differences, I'd just make mine the only major, so I can annex everyone else.

Majors cannot be annexed or vassalized. Only majors can be played by the human.

To remove the other majors, look at the Sticky thread above...
