Maybe i should post this question somewhere else, but ill find out soon enough.

My aim is to have a EU2 game with as many events as possible, while having a game that sticks with reality as much as possible. Ive read about AGCEEP and EP, but im wondering what the exact differences are, and which of the two would be the best for me to play.
Any thoughts?

Cheers.

EP is best cause AGCEEP at times kills you with too many events.

EP on the other hand has a sprinkling of events and rewritten AI files which means that the AI is more competitive.

AGCEEP definitely has more events than EP does. AGCEEP has lots of flavor events. Also it has a tendency with certain nations to script historical events to cover things ordinarily represented in the game by other means.

In EP I shy away from both of these. I try and stick to important historical events that had a bigger impact and can't be easily represented by something else in the game already. A possible exception to this would be that I tend to make lots of events to cover historic changes to provinces(tax, pop, etc.). And of course I'm a pretty avid student of history myself so you'll find no shortage of new historical events in EP.

EP sticks closer to history in development than AGCEEP does. This is because of the strengthened AI performance. Essentially as far as modding goes improved AI = better historical development. Practically speaking, these two concepts are virtually interchangeable.

If you want to see a country develop as it did in history, then play EP. If you want to play as Dauphine, and turn into France, then play AGCEEP
Uh, that happens in EP also. You probably mean Burgundy.

Dauphine almost always becomes France in EP...

I wrote this about two weeks ago. I think it summarizes the differences pretty well.

No i meant Dauphine. What i really meant was that was all i found notable in agceep, whereas in EP history actually unfolds. To me, the difference is like a piece of chocolate on the floor vs a triple decker chocolate cake, with chocolate ice cream. No offences to agceep, or anyone that can't/doesn't eat chocolate.
