I often get into this situation where I set up a couple of domes and an area and there are good sources of water or ores.
As in the picture, I can build a water pipe but I will have to send the RC eventually to be maintaining this place.
The second thing is that I find it very complicated to build a dome just for humans to work there.
One solution I have would be a drone-sized compact RC that could be created at the beginning of the game and could transport people and maintenance materials to areas or even a small monorail that could only go in that area.
It would also be interesting to be able to build an external research area for the same purpose when research areas were too far away.
Airplanes and terraforming take a long time wanted something for good in the beginning. because sometimes these resources can be important for colony survival.
