Currently the deserter Dirk in Craster's Keep during the AFFC scenario is essentially unplayable, because even if you do defeat the force of wildlings that immediately rebels against you you'll get a game over when your Black Brother trait makes you return to the wall.
In order to make this more viable, removing the Black Brother trait while keeping the Deserter trait (for all the traitors) would go a long way towards helping that, however I would also suggest a few other changes to the Deserter trait to make things a little more fun; firstly perhaps a small decrease to the likelihood of the wilding revolt (it makes sense for them to happen, but a little more rarely might make things more playable), and secondly making it impossible to marry ladies from highborn families south of the wall (since nobody would ever agree to such a marriage) which would mean you would need to marry your own courtiers or capture women from other wildling settlements.
In addition to these simple changes, in keeping with the lore it would make sense for all of Craster's wives to be members of Dirk's court, possibly as prisoners instead of having them appear in the courts of the other nearby wildlings.
