Hi all!

Yesterday I played HoI and suddenly everywhere on the normal map (not minimap) appeared grid lines (in square look).

Did I pressed a wrong key or what happened, that these appeared and second (and more interisting) question for me: How do I get rid of the grid???

Any help is greatly appreciated!

If they didn´t show up in seazones it is just the way the mad is made, it is annoying, I agree, but you cant get rid of them, try not to think about them and you wont see them
 
Did you change any display properties?
 
@ Castellon No, I just played till I recognized...

In fact, I started to think that I am going to loose my mind because I was sure they didnt exist before but they were suddenly there and I couldnt remember when or IF they appeared...

I postet this in the stony road forum (there I post usually) as well and some people said there: "You are insane, the grid is always there" and some others said: "Don´worry, there is usually NO grid but I dont know how to activate / deactivate it..)

Maybe the reason is, that I just tried CORE and usually, I play Stony road. Maybe CORE has the grid and stony dont but I tried core and vanilla HoI before and I REALLY CANT remember to ever had this grid on the map....

Any more experiences are greatly apreciated :)
 
I think it was always there and you just did not notice.
Maybe take a screen shot that shows and post it here, that way I can see for sure.
 
I also start to think that I just didnt notice... (besides that, I am really starting to think of an decreasing brain size by myself :))

The good thing is, that I am not the only one who was just curious about the grid, after I telled them that its there and they really started to notice it :rofl:
 
I posted this exact question about a year ago. :) The ocassional grid lines remain a mystery to me . . .
