Disappearing Leaders

I have a technical problem that I need your help with please.

Game Version & Patch (incl. publisher): Armageddon 1.3, playing v.43 of the 1914 mod.

OS & build/SP: XP 32 bit, SP3

Computer, CPU & speed: Custom Build (5 years old) AMD 64 3000+

RAM: 1.5gig

Free HDD space: 80gig ish

Video (brand, model, driver, memory): Nvidia 6800 256 meg

Sound (brand, model, driver): 24 bit Creative OEM sound card

DirectX Version: 11 I think

Other: Pretty sure this is software, not hardware related.


I'm honestly not sure if this should go here or in the 1914 subforum, but my only issue right now is that when I load a save game for 1914, all my leaders are gone. I still get new leader additions in future years, but as soon as I save and load, they're gone too.

Are you using a save game made with an earlier version of Arma (like 1.2)

The save game file was modified and uses a different format to save the picture file paths.

I think I got it figured out, I was using the 1.3 beta patch for arma, instead of the recommended 1.2 patch before changing things to the 1914 mod.

While I'm here, I guess I'll ask another question. The little yellow boxes on unit descriptions that indicate what brigade is attached seem to be broken. Instead of a clear square box with an icon in it, most of them seem clipped and/or have the wrong icon. Any easy way to fix that?
