So I’m trying to play Stellaris on console Xbox series X. We load into the game just fine but after like 10-20 maybe even sooner I keep getting disconnected from the game while he stays connected with no problem. I tried everything I can think of to solve this problem at this point I thinks the game. The list below is all the things I tried to do already.

1. VPN I tried windows,Mac, Ethernet cord , and setting to my router.

2. Mobile Hotspot

3. Clears my router and system cache

4. I even changed my ipv provider

5. I tried linking and unlinking account

6. Delete and reinstall game

These are all the things I tried to do but yet the problem insists of me disconnecting from the game.

A third person is hosting I take it

Otherwise, if the person you are playing with is the host, of course he stays connected...he is the host

Is Stellaris the only game you have this issue with that you all play together?

Have you tried doing a lobby/game with just you and the third person host [if there is a third person]?

Yeah Stellaris is only game that giving this problem. And no there no third person.
Then yes, he wouldn't dc from the game because he is the host

Stellaris doesn't user servers, least not in the traditional sense

While there are servers that allow people to play online together, connections between players are peer to peer

Given that Stellaris is the only game this is happening with the issue is with Stellaris

1) Are you both playing on the Series X? If not, and your friend is on say a Series S or Xbox One/One S/One X that may cause issues with connection.

2) Has your friend checked stuff on their end in the same way you have?

3) Have you tried where you host the game, and he joins you? Just to see if he disconnects from the game.

I can give you and your friend an old xbox "fix list" to see if this helps, but I can't make guarantees. [especially since I have no idea if this is all doable on the Series S/X]

- Uninstall the problematic game/dlc
- Remove your account from the system
- Reset the Alt Mac Address [this will reboot the system]
- After the reboot, do a cold start [hold the power button until the system has completely turned off and then unplug it]
- Unplug your internet modem/route for 1 minute if possible
- Plug back in your modem/router and console
- Once your internet is back, turn the system back on and readd your account
- Redownload the problematic game/dlc
- Test to see if the issue persists

If the issue persists then it is either a problem with Stellaris itself [i.e., wait for an update to see if that may help with connection...], or there is some other deep routed problem which means you need to factory reset the console
