Dismissed Feral Children Don't Disappear

Description​

Feral children found while traveling that I choose to educate myself will remain my ward in my court after I choose to let them go. The event will come up with the two options: in the first you choose to try to continue helping them, which I believe has a 45% chance of succeeding and a 55% chance of them running back into the wild. The other option is just to let them go, which is what I usually choose. When choosing that second option, however, they don't disappear like the game says they should, and remain in my court. It's not a game-breaking problem, but it is odd. Attached is a photo of one of the kids who I chose to let go back into the wilderness, still in my court, still my ward.

Steps to reproduce​

1. Get feral child event while traveling and choose to educate it
2. Wait for event where they stop being your ward
3. Choose to let them go back into the wilderness
4. They remain your ward

An addition to this: events surrounding feral children after this tend to duplicate. Not all of them, but especially notable ones like their coming of age certainly do, among others.
