I had no internet for a few days and all the free DLC items were gone during this time.

Yes it is intended. The Shop checks if you have bought the items and if it can not check it trough the internet it can not acknowledge them.

IMO this needs to be changed asap for me to continue to buy stuff. This is what I get for a "what the heck" buy. Even put some money into the 'wallet'. Should have waited. Dang.
I have to agree - the store needs to be able to provide offline acknowledgement of DLC just like Steam generally does. Especially given how the Pirated copies of this game already bypasses this feature in its entirety.

It only makes sense that if you can play a game with Steam Off Line – then you should be able to play the “entire” game off line. That includes DLCs (free and especially those paid for).

We are looking in to this right now and are hoping to have it fixed during next week!

Good to know. But not being able to build DLC items when offline still isn't cool. Hope they really get it fixed next week as i may have no internet in december for a while because we'll move.

I have no problems spending money for every single DLC that comes out for aGoD, but not if I can't access the content in offline mode. Just bought this week's, hope it won't be my last. That would make me a very sad panda.
