Does anyone know of a good book about Sengoku Jidai?

The Onin War by Paul Varley is a good introduction in English of the period.

Thank you. I just discovered that it is not available in any local library, not available in any used book store in my country and pretty expensive. I am not planning to buy it right now.

Well then you are in luck. The Onin War by Paul Varley can be borrowed from the Royal Library (Kungliga Biblioteket) now that I have returned it
