This happened to me, after playing for hours and hours without a crash: I wanted to exit to the main menu to reload, when suddenly the menu disappeared and the map became black. Because I couldn't see anything, I pressed quit game, to exit to window. To my suprise I then discovered that CK2.exe has disappeared. It's nowhere to be seen. Not in the trashcan so I didn't delete it accidently.

I started steam I could click the option play again, then it updated something. When I tried to start the game I was just playing it gave a warning that the savegame is from 1.02b and the game is now 1.03b. I suppose Steam updated my game during the time I was playing? I see a lot of gamefiles were updated between 7 and 8 PM, I was playing at that time.
