Hello everybody!

I'm not very good with introductions, but here we go:

My intention is to create an Platinean AAR, which was missing so far, based on the Kaiserreich Timeline. I'll allow you, the readers, to take some of the decisions that will be made, so I'll have to write along the way. It will be mainly a Gameplay AAR, with some narrative parts, like the first one. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but don't expect regular updates.

And now, here it goes!

Prologue: Adios, presidente.

The pacient was lying in a bed in a exclusive room of the "Hospital de Clinicas". His pulse had stopped a few moments ago, but no one in the room dared to say something. Meanwhile, the chief doctor of the clinic was filling the defunction act.

Subject: Hipolito Yrigoyen
Time of death: 15:23, February 24th, 1936
Cause of death: Cardiac Arrest

The president of the Union of la Plata was dead.

One of the ministers ran to a phone to report the situation to vicepresident Alvear, who was expecting to hear the fatal news as soon as it happened.

What would happen next? The country was already dealing with multiple manifestations and severe economical issues because of the effects of the Black Monday, that fateful day in which the German markets collapsed, and with it, almost every market in the world.

The truth was, that everyone knew this was going to happen, sooner or later. President Yrigoyen was already 84 at the time, and it was only his stubborness and his political influence on the masses that kept him on power for more than 15 years.

President Yrigoyen in his last years

But Alvear, the vicepresident, wasn't so appreciated among the people, and only God knew if he could be able to control the complex situation. After all, it was highly likely that the military would try something, they had been waiting for years for the right time to come, and this was definately it.
On the other hand, there were a lot of syndicalist supporters on the country, not as much as Bolivia or Brazil, of course, but they could still manage to rally the masses against him, and there wasn't going to be a easy way out of it if that happened.

Vicepresident Alvear

"They need to know", Alvear said with a thin voice, before stepping in to the "Casa Rosada", the house of government, balcony. Thousands of people were waiting outside, they had mobilized to the Plaza de Mayo after hearing that the president had been hospitalized hours ago.

"Citizens of La Plata... I'll tell you the truth, plain and simple, because that is what you deserve right now. Platineans, your president, Hipolito Yrigoyen... is no longer with us"

Before Alvear could say another word, the crowd exploded. The police wasn't able to control the increasing violence, ranging from loud discussions to gunfire.

The vicepresident thought, in his balcony, "there certainly isn't an easy way out of this"

KR AARs are certainly viral! G'luck to this not-so-often South American AAR!

Actually, I'm going to go democratic as well. I'd like to see a stable democracy in Kaiserreich, or for that matter in South America.

3- Syndicalism! It could be a great challenge if France and UoB get kicked in the war !

3!!! Syndicalism all the way. Form an alliance with Brazil maybe and divide up South America? And then stab them in the back when you're strong enough.

Democracy. CPs and Syndies has been over done.

I choose option 1 w/ someone(preferably Peron) as King of Platinea

Dictatorship.:)
