Doomsday Mod?

Hi, I,ve played HOI1 and HOI2 and Doomsday since they were released as single player but never online. Since I bought HOI3 and played it I have deciced to wait for more mature patching.
I just reinstalled Doomsday and patched to V1.3
Should I patch to V 1.3A or is it B or is that only for HOI2.
I also would like to try a mod, something fairly historic, just a better version of Doomsday but have no idea which mod to get or if it's difficult to install.
And finally, I wouldn't mind joining in on a multi player game once I figured out what version you guys prefer to play.

I suggest you get Armageddon too, since very few people play the older HoI 2 versions. I don't know about the DD patches, but the newest patch for Armageddon is 1.3b 2.

If you are looking for a historical mod and some challenge, I would definitely recommend WiF - World in Flames. But also there are historical mods like Total Realism Project and so on. You can find all the mods in the modding subforum and they aren't that difficult to install. They have really easy-to-understand readme's in them.

If you are looking for a multiplayer group, my group has been playing every Saturday for the last 7 months. And I mean literally EVERY Saturday! ...We are using Arma 1.3b 2, but we have done some small modding and improved our game rules, as the result of countless gaming hours we had. We slowly improve and balance our multiplayer game that every new game we start is better than the last one.
