Hello there.
I've just noticed that should you disable doomsday victory scenario, you lose t10 doomsday operation in secret tech military research. There is a good reason for it to be like that, but it really should've been an option, not a mandatory thing, and it's certainly not the only way to solve the problem. Just make the effect temporary or whatever. "Doomsday" weapon you can use only to cause little unrest in some new colony with 3-4 pops is depressing.
Why you might want to disable doomsday victory? Problem is, if you play against very hard AI and the map is larger than medium, they rush secret tech so fast, you can not do anything about it, but with t10 gone, where's (optional) fun with secret tech with like 3-4 effects active at the same time? Also, you might not want to have doomsday clock in multiplayer.
And while it's going slightly beyond the topic of this thread, It would also be helpful to have an option to save game setup settings. Restarting 5 times because you've forgotten to check some 'no empire quests' flag or some other minor thing can be very tedious, especially in multiplayer. I wonder why it isn't there in the first place.
Thanks.
