Doomsday won't start

Hello everyone,

whenever I try to launch Doomsday a message saying "error in db" pops up and the game won't start. What can I do about that? I installed HoI2 the following way:

1. Install HoI2
2. Install Patch 1.3a
3. Install Doomsday
4. Install Patch 1.3a for DD

I'm using Windows Vista.

DD is a stand-alone. You don´t need to install HoI2.

Install Doomsday.
Install Patch 1.3a for DD.
