I have just played AGOT and tried Dothraki, and I have noticed that in a few years the wholle steppe gets taken over and that there is no real migration, only expansion which is flawed. It also seems ridiculous that there are only 5 sizes of horde.
When they take a new province, they should abandon the old one, also, since your horde goes only where your capital is, there should be some kind of code that allows you (and forces AI) to move the capital to the new province.
They lose troops after shiftting the capital because new location does not have any garrison or levy, and by the time they are at 100% someone either conquers them or they lose a level of horde.
