What "type" are they talking about? And which ID is double? This error appeared after changing a secnario country txt file. When I skip it the game seems to run fine.

There is an air unit with ID=53, but it is the only unit with this ID plus it's from an unchanged original file.

i think you kinda answered itself. It saying that your using an ID that is the same as the other files in the entire game. if you got a back-up (the original file) you should move that file away from a different folder. it would be best to move any files that you are copying into a different folder to prevent these things from happening.

if its a scenario .inc file i think you doubled the ID number of a unit or missed to change the ID number respectively.

eg:

navalunit =
{ id = { type = 23000 id = 4002 }
name = "Armada de Colombia"
location = 803
base = 803
division =
{ id = { type = 23000 id = 4003 }
name = "1a Flotilla de Torpedillos"
type = destroyer
model = 0
}

i think these two things are affected? just guessing though.

I had the experience that Supeerme describes. I'm used to backing up files by simply changing the name of the original file, but when I did this in AoD the system continued to read the renamed original as well as it's replacement so that "already used" messages kept popping up.
