Hello all, quick question. By the grace of the Seven I've managed to come into possession of a dragon egg, however I can't hatch it because i don't have enough "Dragonlore". What exactly does that mean and how can I learn to hatch my ticket to the Iron Throne?

Dragonlore is gathered by visiting (put your character in charge of an army and march it to the province) places where dragons have held great significance or had great impact or is otherwise a great source of knowledge.

Here's a list of which provinces this is, spoilered in case you want to find out yourself.
Any province with a Dragonpit built in it (King's Landing will have one in the later scenarios, but I don't know when historically it is built)
Any province that has been converted to a ruin by a dragon.

Harrenhall (Might overlap with the "any ruin-by-dragon" one above, but I'm not sur
Dragonstone
Volantis
Old Ghis
The Citadel
The Smoking Sea (but seriously, beware - the place is taboo and shunned for a reason)

Do you get an event or something when you come there?

Yeah you get an event.
In scenarios after the conquest(8001+) there is also the Field of Fire (Hammerhall in the Reach) and in the latest scenarios there's summerhall for lore.

it's also important to note that Dragon Lore affects taming as well, and can only be collected by the egg stage. So if you miss something and still hatch an egg, you can't get it anymore.
