Grandson takes the throne before the son

Hastings normal/furious, Braganza and now Portugal.

The king is dead and the man that takes the throne is an infant grandson and not the son.... The son is older that the grand son and all... The son is not a bastard...
My law is the semisalanic ( or something like this )

I don't understand how this happen, but I belive he is the grandson of the FIRST son... Still a grandson took the throne before a son... Is this a Bug or WAD?

Very WAD and correct if he is the child of the primary heir (older/first son).

Is that infant grandson a count/duke of your realm?

I reported a bug like this recently (in the beta).

For whatever reason, the sort order amongst the heirs got mucked up. To make a long story short, using semi-salic, an elder daughter's son was getting precedence to a *much* younger son of the Duke.

The circumstances seem similar here, in the sense of involving another generation. Unless FrEDa is correct that for example:

* 1st son is dead
* 1st son had a son (who is living) ==> inherits
* 2nd son is living

I think I got that right.
