Salic Consanguality Actually Semisalic
Playing as Robert de Flandre, who is now in 1443 King of France, Wales, and Ireland. Changed the laws early on to Salic Consanguality. Robert has has no living male heirs and one living female heir. He has two living brothers. But the first in line to succeed is his newphew through his now-dead sister, who is part of a different dynasty.
The nephew has no titles and shouldn't even rank more highly on the 'power' scale than either of the two brothers. Why is he first?
