Winner pays money

In my current game I have noticed that the winner of a siege is the one paying to the loser.

eg. Joe wins a siege against Bob. I then see the message "Joe pays 10 in indem to Bob".

Its happening in every situation where peace is made now, the winner will receive titles etc but always be the one to pay money.

Well, it has been noted before that if the looser has a negative amount of money he will give that amount when he looses. That is he will give -10 gold - and therefore in effect demanding 10.
This is obviously a (rather serious) bug.

BUT in some cases (or so I think at least) if the looser still posses some territory he might give up his claim for some cash (as compensation).

Well I got rid of my debts. Having to pay about -15.000 gold is really quite funny. Reminds me of good old Mafia Games where you could bet negative amounts at the casino.
