I think I've found a bug yesterday and I wanted to report because it appeared several times in a single session.
I've made some screenshots; sorry they are in french but with a few explanations, I believe it will be ok.
So, the problem is when the event 7344 triggers : "If my abilities are not valued in this court, I may begin to look for another"

Costs announced to pay the courtier are different from what is deduced from my treasury.

Look :

Here, we can see that to give money to my courtier cost 19.13

And after choosing this option, I have :

"Ouch" ! has said

The last screenshot shows my new treasury :

:(

Another notice : I had the feeling that during a few milliseconds when the event appeared, the sum displayed was something different from 19.13.

Well, hope this help ...

I don't see anything wrong

Your ruler starts with 257 gold, the event text says that you will lose 167.51 gold which means you are left with 89 gold

Your courtier starts with 141 gold and then receives 167.51 gold which results in him having 309 gold

I don't see the sum of 19.13 anywhere on your screenshots

EDIT
Wait I now see the sum of 19.13, it is on the far right of my screen :)

I think the reason for this problem is, is that in the first event (7344, which fires for your courtier) the event calculates the sum on the basis of your courtiers income.

The second event (7346) calculates the amount of gold for your rulers income

This problem/bug has always been in CK and is due to the event engine, I believe it is declared 'unfixable'.

I experienced this problem in my session tonight as well.

Sucks that it's not fixable. For a second I thought it represented a percentage. where 19.13 would indicate an increase of over

1,900 percent.

or if the courtier had 1 money
he would get 191.3

But that wasn't the case. Anyway...

Not fixable ?! .... ok, but one must say it is a bit disturbing.
Well, is there any other events with the same problem ?

I think it is unfixable, but that is just me thinking that. Not Paradox who is saying that. :) Since this problem has been in the game since it came out, I think it is a good guess.

There are other events that have the same problem, don't know which ones exactly. There are just to many events in CK.

And how important would you rate this 'bug' ? Is it a game-breaker ? You always have the option to not pay your courtier at all.
